It has been used as a parent quiet a lot to put toothy edges on seedlings but it has a muddy color in my garden and I have never liked it. It does grow and bloom well here.

I love Baracuda Bay. It grows true to it stats and often reblooms here. Almost every summer I get a few poly blooms from it. It is easily fertile both ways and does well in hot sun. Although it appears to be top budded, I have never had flowers all stuck together on this cultivar or looked overcrowded as far as blooms are concerned.

I have had BB for several years and was not overly impressed until this year. I began using alfalfa pellets on all my plants , and we had so much rain this year which is apparently what this plant needed. It bloomed like crazy and was very true to form and color. I am glad that I didn't sell it in my last plant sale!!!

I got Barracuda Bay in 2015 and it is up to 9 fans now. I was impressed with the branching in 2018 and 2019. I've not seen rust on it. Even though the coloring does look muddy, I guess it is the teeth that make this one so interesting.

There are a few polys in the database, and I was able to capture one in 2018.

It has done okay in my garden and usually begins blooming at the beginning of July and into August a little. As long as it continues to look like this, I'll probably keep it.
