This morning I went out to sey hello to my DLs.
At the base of Spanish Glow I found that thing you can see in the pics.
Yesterday it wasn't there, I checked the plant twice, once in the morning for bad leaves, and in the afternoon I harvested the seed pod.
It's a part of the plant, but I can't establish if it's a new fan or a scape.

There's another DL that's putting out a new fan! It's a new spring here!

Its getting close to fall here and I am seeing increase also. I noticed you and I are close to the same zone, I am in 9 and hardly have any winter during a normal year.

I'm in Italy, I tried to choose a zone by similarity.
The past years we were used to have freezing winters, but starting from two years ago no freeze and lot of rains. Who knows.
Weather is getting strange. We had a very hot and dry long summer, and it's strange too!
