I met this stunning beauty in the local botanical garden in one of the tropical greenhouses, and instantly fell in love with it! Hilarious! it had no label and was planted way behind other plants in weak light, it was not easy to get some pictures..
I think it should be in the Araceae family..
The smaller narrower leaves were from a long runner of the main plant.

It is C. mirabilis. And they do prefer shade. Mine got a little bit of burn from just a little bit of "sun", thru the tree above where the limbs/leaves didn't filter it. Supposedly slow but mine has taken off gangbusters running amuck with runner's looking to grab hold of something. It's a stunning plant and one I had waited a long time to get.
God gave us wings. He just called them horses

Interesting how the leaf shape changes from juvenile to adult, it reminds me of Syngonium..
