what plumeria is the most desirable plumeria in your opinion? Just One plumeria that you wish you could have?

That's a hard question to answer Mark. For someone just starting out it can be 'any plumeria that will bloom for me' - for a more established collector it is probably the one that is a tad beyond their budget, and for a serious collector (read: addict Hilarious! ) it's more likely to be the one that has just been revealed from Thailand or somewhere like that that hasn't yet been imported into the US.
Something like this one: (photo by famous hybridizer Kukiat Tanteeratarm) 'Aurora'

I agree on Tropical Aurora. I had an email from him a couple years ago that he isn't ready to sell that yet but when he does he will sell them through Brad Buds and Blooms.

So I bought some seeds of Tropical Aurora from Brad over 2 years ago and all my seedlings survived but no inflo yet. Whistling

I still fall into the "any plumeria that will bloom for me" category. Blinking Those of you with mild winters don't realize how lucky you really are. We have a long growing season, but our winters can often be tough on any tropical plant.

Okay...I have decided to acquire more plumerias. At the moment I have two growing in the ground: a pudica and a celadine. Two more are being rooted in pots: cuttings of dwarf white, name unknown.

Plumeria trees are very common as landscape plants in people's yards as well as businesses here (mostly whites). So though I am aware of restricting my choices, I would like to grow dwarfs in 3 gal. containers. Please, could someone tell me of a reputable plumeria outfit on www that offers dwarf plumeria seeds/plants for sale? I'm all ears! I am closer to Taiwan than the CONUS.

Jungle Jack's has a lot of different dwarf and compact varieties. I'm not sure whether they export, though.
Seeds are easily obtainable, but you'll have to be patient, and the dwarf gene may not be transferred....
