Thread OP

Wandering out into a garden in the morning always finds something new; today I found a repeat bud on Hemerocallis minor. And a bloom on Happy Returns. I suspect, but I'm too lazy to trace it right now that Saxton used minor and others that led down to Bitsy, Stella and Happy Returns. Told Happy Returns your great, great something is blooming. Spent an hour pollinating phlox-two cultivars on a wild one that I can't identify and wondering what am I going to do with a pile of phlox seeds. They are starting to ripen and need watching. I have stopped trying to gather daylily seeds as, as usuall, I don't know how I.m going to cope with what I have.----Weedy

Maurice, Bitsy is not too shabby either. Bloomed practically none stop for a plant that is going in its second year. This mini always put a smile on my face.
