This unnamed plant was purchased 2 years ago. It has survived 2 cold and snowy winters in zone 5b. The blooms show up in the fall. Someone suggested a type of mock orange bush. After looking that up this plant does not seem to fit the criteria. Any other suggestions?

I wonder if it could be a variety of Flowering Quince? We have a few varieties in the database for comparison:

I,m pretty sure it is a Calycanthus. One of the newer crosses that combine C. floridus, C. occidentalis and the Asian species.
