I am still digging and transplanting Irises. I have six baby rhizomes of Vapor that need a home. One is a double. Anyone want them for postage?

Also can add some Chickasaw Sue babies -- and Jesse's Song............

OK -- Lynn -- got you down for the Vapor babies. Do you have enough warm weather left in Michigan for these to settle in a grow new roots?

They should be fine. Last year I planted in November and they did well and bloomed this spring!

I would take them Mary Ann, but there is others I would like more at the moment. Besides I am out of soil and spots made at the moment for more. I would have to prep more first and then the spots should be given to the ones I need to divided. Mary Ann, the Silverado irises I got from you already need to be divided/separated. I got 6 or 7 I think and now I am already up to about 17 or 18.

Don't divide until the increases get big enough.

Mary Ann - you have other jewels I have my eye on! Hee. And I am out of garden space until next year. Fall/winter will be garden designing time whether I want it to be or not.

I am keeping busy in the garden, Leslie. I'm repairing Iris Lane and transplanting Irises from the temporary bed next to the garage to IL as I go. I'm not making speedy progress -- but I am making progress. And (drum roll) -- my back is actually improving! I've been going to a new chiropractor for the past three weeks, and he's making a difference!!! Hurray! So -- I can actually work in my beds for more than an hour at a time. I know I won't get it all finished this fall -- but I'm making a dent, and that's good enough for me.

And I have a pretty good idea what *jewels* you have your eye on!!! Green Grin!

Richard -- I'm so glad that Silverado is doing well for you. If it's happy -- it GROWS!!! And a huge clump of Silverado blooms is drop-dead gorgeous. Sounds like you're well on your way. Smiling Thumbs up

I can do Jesse's Song. I might have to put it in pots in the cellar? I have windows.

Great, Linnea. When I dig them up and have an idea of the size and number, I'll let you know. Hopefully, it will be this weekend.

Don't need Chickasaw Sue?

I ordered Chickasaw Sue this year from Napa (I think). It was talked up enough last year by certain folks that I deemed it necessary to acquire nodding

I'll hit you up next year for Jesse's Song, if you have any available. It's a Dykes medal winner, isn't it?

I think it is, Sherry. And I have a lot of it -- I'll put you down for some next year.

I don't know who could have talked up Chickasaw Sue enough to induce you to order it????? Whistling Why didn't you just tell me that you needed some?

Haha! If I could have remembered who it was, I would have asked... I think it's one that Renee Frasier has also talked up, so you're in good company. Or she is Thumbs up

I need a CS but it may be too late to plant here. I will throw myself prostrate at your feet whining and groveling the next time you post photos of their blooms. Will that work?

Why don't I send you some little guys now, Bonnie? If they survive -- great. If not -- there's always next year........

It can't be too late to plant where you are if there's time for me to plant where I am. ???

And Sherry? I would be the one in good company, believe me............... Green Grin!
