My favorite is raw, straight from the garden. Although... baked, drizzled with melted butter and warm maple syrup is pretty good too.

I can't remember if I washed the carrot for the image or not.The image was taken last fall. The carrot bed has a lot of compost mixed in, most of the time they come out clean enough to just brush off and eat. ( I do wash them before cooking! Don't want to scare anyone who might come to dinner and see carrots on the plate Smiling )
