I went to a local store and purchased a bunch of houseplants, but one didn't have an ID on it. It appears to be a succulent of some sort and the UPC code has a website below it that says www.mickysminis.com , which is clearly inaccurate. www.mickysminis.org would seem to be the correct website and I found this there:
http://www.mickysminis.org/eve...

...which was about as close as I could get to finding out, from their site, what this poor little thing was. Hilarious!

If anyone could help, that would be great, especially so I can look up care instructions, but also just do I know what I have. For the moment, I'll assume the 'let it dry out between waterings' method.

I want to say it's an etiolated (stretching for the light; they're generally more compact) Echeveria. I'd venture to guess E. Pulvinata 'Ruby Blush'

The red edges appear in proper light.

What a cute fuzzy succulent Lovey dubby Sorry, can't id it..it does seem to be an echeveria, but it could also be a type of kalanchoe.

As for its care, I would agree to use typical succulent care, water thoroughly then allow to dry out thoroughly, then lessen watering if your are going to grow it indoors this winter. But try to keep warm and give as much bright light while indoors.

My first thought was as Planto suggested, looks to be etoilated from too low light conditions but I'm really not sure, it could be the normal growth habit. It still reminds me more of Echeveria than Kalanchoe. Here are some to compare it with:
Echeveria (Echeveria pulvinata 'Ruby')
Echeveria (Echeveria pulvinata 'Red Velvet')
Echeveria (Echeveria harmsii)
Woolly Rose (Echeveria 'Doris Taylor')

As tarev suggested, some Kalanchoe have the soft, pubescent leaves too:
Panda Plant (Kalanchoe tomentosa)
Panda Plant (Kalanchoe tomentosa 'Chocolate Soldier')
