Dennis, good luck! Beautiful Edgings was one of my first purchases this year and I loved it, even though I don't normally like pastels. It's very photogenic. Mine held up well despite the clay -like soil here in Michigan, so I hope it does well for you and your neighbor.
Golden Prize was one of my last 'purchases' this year, I've had it about 2 months now, I think. I got it from www.oakesdaylilies.com and it is doing great so far. It gets morning and afternoon sun, but it's shaded during most of the day this time of year because of where the sun is at in relation to my house.
I'd have to double check my initial fan count from Oakes, but I think atleast 1-2 of those fans is new as of the last week or two. I can't promise you it flowers well in shade, yet, but since mine doesn't get a lot of sunlight this time of year, I can say it will atleast develop good foliage in the shade!
