Since the thread about the Stamile's new introductions was taking a bit of a detour I thought maybe we could continue the discussions of what folks are adding this fall or next spring. Plus this thread will provide others with sufficient cover to prove they aren't the craziest out there.

I managed to go a whole day without buying a plant. But I traded for one. ROSEMARIE LOUISE.

Maybe a better way to start this thread would be "Hi, my name is James, and I have a daylily addiction."

Hi, my name is Doris, and I have a daylily addiction and a husband who has the same addiction. Need I say more?

As of today, we do not have any new ones coming in 2016. We got 3 new fall intros last month from Floyd Cove and added some of Pete Harry's three weeks ago. If we plant in the fall, we will get blooms next year. If we plant in the spring, we may get blooms. We still have many in pots to put in the ground before cold weather gets here. (Hope to get most of these planted this coming week.) I am praying that the Weather Channel is correct in forecasting that the SE U.S. will have a warm fall into December. So far, the forecast has been accurate. By December I will be ready and wanting a cold winter.

We will no doubt give into temptation over the winter once the new catalogs start arriving in the mail and websites are updated. I have already emailed Tim Herrington telling him that I will be watching for his updated website. I want to get some of his new intros before they all get sold out. Our local daylily club will have Greg Goff speaking in January, Pete Harry in February, Jan Joiner in March, and maybe Jamie Gossard in April. They will all bring daylilies to auction, and this arm or David's will be shooting up too often without knowing where that particular daylily will be planted. We will be in trouble in no time, and I'll be asking again, "How did I let this happen (AGAIN!)? Where in the world will these daylilies go? Better still, which daylilies must leave so these new ones can be planted?

I've been keeping an eye out for Tim's new stuff he has some fabulous seedling pics on his page. Judy Davisson has been teasing everyone for a while too, but looks like she's about to update as her page is locked.

I also mailed a couple plants to Betty ( @Betja ) because I can enable with the best of them!

I usually order from Judy once her website is updated. I need to stay away from there. I love her daylilies!

James, I am glad that you take your job of enabler seriously. It's a tough job! I tip my hat to you. Big Grin

Well, James totally surprised me with the two fans, and he's apparently already shipped them -- what a lovely enabler he is indeed! Big Grin nodding

So far I've ordered three new 2016 dips from the Lambertsons at Art Gallery Gardens and two 2016's from Pat Stamile. And, of course, I'm getting other "stuff" from the Lily Auction that I probably don't want to talk about... Hilarious! Oh, the guilt, the guilt... Sighing!

Yeah I need to put together a list of what I am actually adding. Whistling

Betty is also forgetting that her Floyd Cove order is coming soon, and there's a surprise in there. nodding

This one is dangerous.

Still working out my focus, but there will always be Davisson daylilies in my future. I want to continue down that path of large watermarks and green.

I haven't done as much with patterns, but I did add CHERRY BLISS and GENEROUS SPIRIT from Di, already planted and EVERYDAY BUTTERFLY off the LA. I have a stunning TET coming from William Marchant, and hopefully UNDEFINABLE, and VAMPIRE ACADEMY (planted), DeGROOVIE (planted) and ALIEN GALAXY (planted). The last two to play with CLOWN PANTS. One or two plant orders from Luddy's and Pat, too!

No dips yet, which is quite strange for me. I am almost hoping that I can resist this year, but have yet to see Jamie's or Polston's or Korth's. I have spent so many years collecting the finest dips I am not sure that I want to stop...lol.

Every year I buy less. My seed offerings use more of my own things every year, which has always been the goal. Next year should be the best crop ever, hopefully.

That's a great mix Steve. I'm saving to try and get a couple new toothy plants this year. I'd like to get a couple from Daniel Matton as well - I think he has some really nice lines with teeth that you don't see frequently down here. I just have to try and make the order worth it to cover the shipping and phyto costs.

the nursery, from whom I ordered about 10 cultivars for this Fall, called to say that they thought some of them were too small and they didn't feel comfortable sending them to me.. Sad

But to make up for it they included a list with about 115 others, for very low prices.... Rolling on the floor laughing

Many of these I do not know, James..which is most likely a real good thing. Let me study the list a little while before I make a fool of myself.

But, is TET MIDNIGHT MIRROR the one that Luddy's was offering up?
