I thought it might be a fun thing to share some pictures of our "Iris Art". I have only really two things that would qualify as iris art, This is an original water color and ink painting. I bought this and another one of a daylilly framed like it as a pair to give to my mother for her birthday years ago. After she passed, I got them back.
This is called "Iris Dream"

I'm having trouble getting a clear picture of the other piece. I'll post it when I get a good picture.

Maybe Dee will share a picture of the beautiful quilt she made?

What do you have that would qualify as Iris Art? Smiling
Probably should post one item at a time so we can ohhh and ahhh over each one.

I don't have any flower art, although I would like to put an Iris flower stake or two in the yard next year--something like this one:

my iris art is very primitive and would probably give the rest of you palpitations. I will spare you.

I like that Debra. Really love that wood block too. I used to have prints from Japanese paintings of iris back in college. Long gone now.

Guess all my irises are outside now.

Over the years, I've made a number of porcelain irises pieces, but
they're long gone and no photos.
However I think it's time to make some iris coffee cups
with cobalt irises for Christmas gifts!

This is not mine but a very famous piece of iris art with the Pres. of our iris society. The painting is the original one.

I wanted to buy two lithographs years ago but never did. They are by Marty Bell called Iris Joy. They are beautiful.

I had a beautiful vase that had an iris engraved in it. It broke when we moved. I'm still sick about it getting broken. Every once in a while I look at websites to see if I can find another one.

I'm way behind, My internet service was out and my phone had no dial tone, so I just now got it back running.

Gabriel Very Nice Watercolor!

Jane, that looks like it could have been a Van Gogh.

Paul, what a treasure, and what a talented son you have! Must run in the family!

I haven't tried to get another photo of another work of art that I have, but will try later. Thanks for sharing these. I'm sure there are many more!

Paul - wonderful gift from your grandson!
