I was given a creeper plant by my colleague but neither of us have any idea what's its called.

I have attached a photo of the plant and hopefully someone know its species.

Your plant looks very healthy. I can only make a guess. It appears there are whorls of 3 leaves at each node. It could possibly be a type of Peperomia. Someone with more knowledge may come along with better information.

Please can you tell me where this plant is growing. What is your location?

If it turns out to be a Peperomia, it may be an introduced plant to Singapore.

None of the above appear to have whorled leaves, your plant does appear to have whorls of three leaves.

Verhuellia is a Piperaceae genus of three species, known from very few collections and localities on Cuba and Hispaniola (Haiti and Dominican Republic). It is a small, herbaceous, saxicolous perennial with monopodial architecture, whorled leaves and perianthless flowers organized in solitary lateral spikes (Fig. 1).

I found one which has whorls but it appears to have 4 leaves to a whorl, Peperomia tetraphylla but given the number of species it could be difficult to say which it is. Take note of the venation with a single deep vein either side of the central vein, radiating from the base of the leaf to near the tip. The leaves on your plant don't appear to be succulent.

This is flora of the Sydney region, if the key relates to all Piperaceae then the drawings of Piper nigrum are wrong, Tropicas shows them as alternate.

Piper with whorls of three, Piper polystachyon has three-nerved leaves. Note that the 's' is the historic 'f' shape.

Have we already looked at Peperomia trifolia?

I found a specimen of Piper polystachyon, it looks a good match although with so many species it can't be certain unless no other specie has the same shaped leaves, whorled leaves in threes and three-nerved leaves. The specimen is from Jamaica.

Peperomia trifolia does have three-veined leaves but the outer veins appear to stop short of the leaf margin, the veins on the plant in question look to go to the outer margins near the tip. The leaves are quite rounded on P. trifolia.

My Piper nigrum plants are mostly alternate, with a few variations on the same plant. The same with Piper betel. Piper methysticum all alternate.

An inmature plant may not show all the nerves that a mature plant shows.

Wow thank you all for the suggestions. The nearest resemblance seems to be Peperomia trifolia only it doesn't have the long "bulbs" like at the tip. Perhaps it's just not mature enough yet.

Seeing a mature plant with flowers / fruit will help with ID.
