Where do I submit additional photos for the plant data base? Where are the directions for submitting photos and comments? I seem to have a lot of difficulty navigating "All Things Plants" and wonder if there is a tutorial section I could read for help. It's probably obvious, but I am at a loss. Thanks in advance for your help.

Find the plant you want in the database and scroll all the way to the bottom. You will see a section like this that will allow you to make upload photos, add comment, add data, etc.

Or scroll only part way down and the 'Adding Actions' is on the left side in the blue section.

After finding the plant, I had to "find it" a second time to find the page you showed. I did try to upload two photos, got a message saying "uploading" but then don't know if they were uploaded or not. They seem to have disappeared from view. I wonder what I'm doing wrong.

There are no pending images that you have submitted, and it should have given you a preview with a submit button. Make sure you click that submit button and it would give you a message that your images are pending review. Your first ten photos go into a queue for admin approval before they show up in an entry.

Hi Sandra,

I hope the info above about adding photos to the database has been helpful for you; if not, please don't be afraid to ask again!

As far as getting around ATP in general, this article might be of help to you: http://garden.org/ideas/view/d...

Finally, just had to add that it was kind of funny for me to see that your name is "Sandra Williams," because that was my name in what I refer to as my "former life," aka former marriage; is your middle name "Jean," by any chance?? (It seems that the majority of people that I know named "Sandra" share my middle name as well Hilarious! )

@rositoes Sometimes, if you're using Internet Explorer as a browser, you'll run into problems accessing some of the features of this site. And some people have a bit of difficulty with iPhones, too. Have you been able to upload your photos yet?

Just today I tried to upload some big BMP and the progress bar just went away after a while, with no success and no error msg. (FireFox).

But that might be our IT department stomping on the upload, or my PC being slow. I've uploaded 3-4 small BMPs today with no problem.

Thanks for sharing your tips. I haven't hada chance to try adding photos again. I just seem to get further behind every day. Will probably get caught up after Christmas. Weedwhacker, my middle name is not Jean. I have found it a pretty common name. Thanks again everyone.
