Thread OP

This has been my favorite succulent for years. Strangely enough when I ask customers and employees which plant is the most visually attractive on my jobsites, this has been the obvious favorite with almost everyone. It is unique in that it can survive with little soil and it is happy in very strange places like inside of a tiny pocket of soil 10 feet off the ground in a crevice of a tree trunk. Although it may die at ground level when winter temperatures are below 10 degrees Fareinheit, that same extra cold winter may not kill this plant if it is high and dry. The silvery color of this plant plus the smooth rubbery texture lends itself to plantings inside of crevices carved out of orange or black lava boulders ( Featherock ) which has a very rough texture. This is a winning combo sure to please.

Scott Welcome! to ATP.

It is my favorite plant too. It roots easy from a leaf so I have it in all my pots. Which brings me to one of the compliments I can give it.....It blends well and compliments other plants in a combo pot.

Marilyn, I think they may be referring to Ghost Plant (Graptopetalum paraguayense) If so, here's a link: Ghost Plant (XGraptosedum 'Ghosty')

There's too many plant words that start with Grapto-! There are a few cultivars:

It is a wonderful plant. I have a few different ones including a "minima", some are more purple than others, some have little sparkles on the leaves. They all flower the same though. Awesome plant that will grow almost anywhere.
