I am not sure which category in the Photo Contest to enter pics of Dahlias.

They are perennials in warmer zones (but not mine), so thats my best guess. I considered bulbs, but they are not really bulbs.

Guidance would be appreciated.

A perennial is always a perennial. It may not survive your winters but it is still considered a perennial, so placing it there would be fine.

Thanks - it does seem kind of obvious - but its hard for me to think of them as perennials since I have to dig them every year.
