Hi Nora , so nice to hear from you . Always a pleasure to add a new name to those of us who are addicted to daylilies......and yes for me it is truly an addiction. I am gardening just about the farthest south you can garden in Canada .....so I am a zone 6a sometimes a 6b . We get lots of drought weather in the summer which is why I got bitten by the daylily bug in the first place. This plant seems to be able to survive just about anything .
I too have ordered from BC, Quebec , Nova Scotia , the USA and of course Ontario where I live. I have only been gardening for about 15 years total and about 10 years with daylilies ....I don't know why I hadn't heard of all the daylillies out there before that but at the inception of my gardening experience I only knew of orange and yellow daylilies ........now some 1000 plus daylilies later I can truthfully say I haven't met a daylily I don't like .
I hope you do post some pics of your gardens I for one would love to see them .
Keep in touch ........we can gab about daylilies any time you want LOL!
