coolnick85, Welcome! A little more information would help . Are these trees, shrubs, weeds? Where are they growing? Country, state, wild, or garden? Pictures of the whole plant would also be helpful.

So this bunch (shrubs) you see is about 6 inches tall (They get up to 12 inches). I collected it from a sandy soiled prairie in northern minnesota.

It reminds me of Podocarpus and there is a dwarf variety but the dwarf grows to at least 3 feet in height.
