For the past week, we've been holding a fun activity where members associated images in the forums with plants in the database. It was wildly successful. Open to find out more.

@jmorth Jack, is this what Northerners do when they can't garden outside? Hilarious! That is an amazing number of photos you associated! Hurray!

Just one of a number of pursuits. Other ones include trying to reduce number of images in Picasa (currently at 83300, down from >100000), forcing bulbs (~ 25 + pots), walking with Plato (Husky) daily, and giving my rock collection their once a year cleaning.
Nothing that's been done can ever be changed.

Over 2500 images posted to the database in a short time is amazing! It certainly was fun to search for those photos and I also got to read some posts over again while searching and saw a lot of great photos again.

Congratulations on winning, jmorth! That was a lot of work. I tip my hat to you.

Thank you very much Zuzu for hosting this contest. Smiling

And of course a big thank you to the moderators and admins, who really had their work cut out for them with that many submissions.

This was a fun contest. Even though I am not a competitive person this contest was set up to work so effortlessly that my numbers were high enough to make me happy and earn me some lovely acorns...1/2 an acorn at a time.

@jmorth...1287, wow...let me do the math...that's 643.5 new acorns he earned for his efforts plus the 250 acorn prize = 893.5. Hurray!

Thank you to everyone who participated, especially the folks who took the photos and added them within each thread and helped to grow the ATP database. Thumbs up Best contest ever!

I think I could build a mountain out of acorns accumulated.
It did involve hours per day to find so many good items to add to the db, enjoyed hours. Most were from two forums in the Perennials listing, one from 2015 and the other 2013. Both were rather large sized threads, each with around 1800 entries.
Nothing that's been done can ever be changed.
