Our little swap is humming right along, thanks to all of you. We are currently at 19 swappers. I was hoping to get at least 15 so my expectations have been exceeded. There are no upper limits to the number we will accept. This is still small relative to other swaps I've hosted and completely manageable. The automated system will streamline the sorting process enormously so a lot of seeds can be handled quickly.
Our swap list is beginning to look like a good seed catalog and currently 425 items have been added to wish lists. We have several players who have either not even started their lists yet or have not yet added them to this swap, so there is more to come.
The success of this swap so far is attributable to its membership. Everyone is engaged and cooperative and willing to learn how to use this new system and that is key. We have seed swap high rollers and brand new gardeners to learn from. Hurray!

I've made a change because I saw it on Horntoad's swap, Whistling raising the number of packs that a person can select on opening day from 3 to 4. The number of packs you can choose per day will increase from there incrementally. We have so many seeds available that it just made sense to me.
We are still experimenting with the swaps and I think this is a good move, but we will find out soon enough.

We are holding steady at 21 traders. That's a great number. If anyone is lurking and trying to decide, there is still room for more and there is about a week until we start choosing seeds.

There are currently 1050 packs that have been added to wishlists and the list of seeds being offered keeps growing. There are 966 different kinds of seeds offered and well over 2000 packs available as of now. Smiling

Two new members joined today, treehugger and rattlebox, bringing us to 23 traders in this swap. 1255 packets have been added to wishlists, there are 1027 different kinds of seeds offered and a number of total packs that I'm too tired to count right now. Blinking
Six days until selection Tuesday. Hurray!

Today we stand at 24 traders. I think we will have at least one more before we are finished. There are 1229 unique kinds of seeds so far, many of which include multiple packs. I have not counted but I'm guessing there are 3000 or more available.

Reminder to all: The swap runs on ATP time. Everyone who participates must have something listed and activated for the swap before it opens for "dibbing" Tuesday evening at midnight ATP time, which translates to 4:00pm Pacific time, 5:00pm Mountain Time, 6:00pm Central Time, 7:00pm Eastern Time and 11:00pm Jonna Time. If anything about that looks off, please yell it out loud. Smiling
If anyone enters seeds and does not see them when you access the full tradelist for the swap, remember that you must activate your added seeds by assigning them to Swap #4 in the left column of your personal seed swap list. Just three days until we release the Kraken. Tickets, I mean release the swap tickets.
Also, not everyone has completed the step of submitting your name and address using the link provided on our swap page.
Have a good weekend. Thank You!

@ poisondartfrog - I checked my time zone, but we have winter and summer time here. ATP gives a lot of opportunities to fill in that. I was on 'French summer time' that should be the same as in Belgium. But when I checked that with your time tables I get confused. There are so many time table I can choose on ATP, but they are not really clear to me.
I'm in GMT +1
Can you translate that to the starting hour of the swap?

Jonna, I believe that will put you at 1:00 am on January 6, 2016.

GMT and UTC are basically interchangeable (unless you're a scientist.)

Hi Jonna! Great to see you again! (I am Andi on cubits, we were fellow piggies). I am glad that there is a swap open for our international friends!

I just found this swap. I was a member of the first swap using this system. It worked very well. It probably makes things easier for the host.

I have to adjust my seed list and print more labels today and tomorrow!

I know, Jonna. The swap system is set up that way for now, but hopefully in the future hosts will have more control over start times.

I thought it worked so that even though our region was showing a different time we all really started at the "same' time Confused
