Sorry I just came to the party.
But look what I found today.

Needs a little paint, but is not rusted through, $1.25

Plant stand was $2.00, just need to tighten the screws and paint. Wire baskets were .25¢ to .50¢ each.


Childrens wooden chairs. I will fix the seats with hardware cloth and plant them.


Toad house .50¢ Needs a little cleaning and maybe some paint?


Tin letter holder, a ceramic lady (I will drill a hole in the bottom), a few other ceramics, rock person and ironstone pot.


All this and things for my grand daughters campus apartment when she move into it next month.
We had so much fun today.

I am trying to decide how to paint the cart. Any suggestions?

I always like blue, it all depends how much you want it to 'stand out' Red would cover up the rust spots nicely...

You might want to cover the whole thing with Kilz spray. It usually keeps the rust from seeping through. And I love blue too, but yellow also works well with blue.

I'm liking the thought of both the red and the yellow. I'll be reselling it so I need to take that into account. Hmmmmm

Sharon, I always thought KILZ was for mold and mildew. Is it for rust too?
