Hurray Hurray!

Keith Keppel has re-worked his web page to now include his up coming catalog. (which he said may be coming out late this year) It is complete with an order blank that can be printed, and he said in an e-mail he is accepting orders now. I sent mine in today. You can't order on line, it must be done through snail mail. But the good news is you can send in your orders now, Smiling and don't have to wait for the paper catalog.

Here's the link to the website. http://keithkeppeliris.homeste...

Have fun, consider this my enabling nudge for the day!!!! Whistling Hilarious!

Mid-America dropped the price on Fancy Ideas along with a few others of his so it is now on my list. I also like Billowing Waves & Celtic Tartan but they will have to wait. Actually, the entire 2015 page is on a wish list. And we won't even talk about 2016 intros!!

Didn't look at the Australian. Not sure about space available here. snow cover is nice for plants, however.

Which ones were they?

That's when you look at your wish list and decide, is this one I can wait for? Will I find it somewhere in a few years for less? Are there others I won't get now as they will be easy to find later so I can get this one now?

If I live on oatmeal and potato soup for a month will I be able to buy them? Rolling on the floor laughing I shouldn't laugh, I might have to do that. Whistling

It is these two and I will wait for them. Smiling Even if I cut back in other areas, cannot justify spending $25/$30 for a single Iris when I need new glasses, one of the dogs needs dental work...well, you know better than most recently how that goes. Smiling It is fun to hop up and down in excitement about the availability, though. Hilarious! Hilarious!

I'm with you, except my upper limit is about $20. That's why I'm excited about Mid-Amdrica's price's being lowered.

What a bummer, my Iris budget just got cut off due to not good news from the vet. No sherbert bomb for me this year.

Fun & cheaper to grow medians. Paul Black has a plicata SDB with one of the interesting TB patterns. Computer just underlined plicata. It will have to learn that word.

Debra, those are nice ones too. Maybe next year. Smiling I know all too well about vet bills. Last year's vet bills really curtailed my iris purchases. Well somewhat. Whistling Jen, hope your vet bills aren't too staggering. What's wrong with your boxers? I'm beginning to think I need to get dog health insurance. Sherbet Bomb was one I didn't order, but it's on my sub list in case one of the ones I ordered is sold out. Heck I wanted one of everything, but had to limit myself. Now if I could sell another horse I could buy more irises! Sighing! Maybe I could trade compost for irises??? Any takers out there??? Rolling on the floor laughing

Of course he opens today. Sighing! I just sent an envelope to Mariposa. I still want at least one intro, but I feel my chances may slim by the minute due to the popularity. I may shoot for 2 next week. If he's sold out..well theres hopefully next year.

Financial issue is now creating these iris beds, getting dirt, .... paying my employees tomorrow and hounding contractors that don't pay on time. Grumbling

Great new look to the Keppel site as well!
Gimme it and I'll grow it!

Gabriel, I think Keppel holds the checks until he is ready to send your order, I may be wrong, but you could always ask. Smiling

Tom, Oh not even sure where to begin with my dogs right now. 2016 has not been a good start for my husband and I as our dogs are our kids. And it's been absolutely heart wrenching so far. My female who is 8 was diagnosed with cancer in 2014 when we had her Acl tear fixed. and she has been doing good until recently we found another lump which was asperated and it's also cancer so she is due in for surgery to remove this lump and to find out what grade of cancer it is. In the mean time she somehow did something to her eye which has caused her to scratch her cornea creating an ulcer that won't heal. So now we have to have surgery done on that. My male who is getting ready to turn 5 went in for a small simple procedure to remove an Euplis from his gum and I got a call 15 minutes into surgery that they found a lump on his side and they are cutting it out to be safe. Well turns out that lump is cancer too and we found another lump on his other side which he will be going back to the vet on Monday to recut the spot to make sure they removed all the cancer cells and then remove the other lump on the other side. So any extra prayers or positive vibes right now would be greatly welcomed!
