Usually people who want to leave the entire ATP website just don't come back as often. Since it's free, there's no regular method to entirely remove your screen name and password from the member list.

But if you want that, we could summon Dave or Trish and ask them to go into it manually and take out your name. They own, program and administer the site and are very helpful and cooperative.

You can always go into "Your profile" (Upper-left corner - the icon that looks a little like head-and-shoulders) and remove any personal information, but I see you just joined today and have not added any personal information.

I'm just curious, since I think this is the best garden website anywhere, or ever. Is there anything you hoped to find here that seems missing?

The single most common answer to people who ask for new features is:
"We already have that. Here is how to find it ..."

And Dave is very open to changes. Usually the answer to those requests is one of these:
- yes, I've been thinking about the best way to do that but haven't found time yet to add it
- I didn't think that would be wanted by very many people - LET ME KNOW and if wanted enough, I will
- here's why I decided not to do that,
- here's why I decided not to do that, but let's discuss whether those reasons are still valid
or
- OK, I added that overnight. Try it out and let me know how you like it.

In other words, ATP is the 100% opposite of websites that disregard their members. If you sit in on one of the "not a raffle" videos, or interact with Dave, Trish, or any of their children, I think you'll agree with me that this site is most like a family with wonderful parents.

True. He or she actually joined Feb 2.

But if someone else goes searching for "how to unsubscribe", maybe they'll see the post.

And, each time I see such a thread, I wonder "why would anyone want to unsubscribe from a free site".

And I wonder why one would take the trouble to say "I'm walking away" with no reason given, before walking away. Politeness??

I think its sad they un-subsribe before getting to know us. It took a bit of effort to subscribe and I haven't noticed any rampant advertisements, offers, chain letters, newsletters, polilitical ads Sticking tongue out ... being generated by this site.

(I guess they could all be going into my spam filter. Better check.)

Actually I do remember a post - some advice she gave.
Don't squat with yer spurs on!

People try to turn back their "odometers." Not me. I want people to know 'why' I look this way. I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved

I remembered....it was a discussion about snowfall...when to estimate when to plant....her comment was to begin the planting when the first bit of snow falls off the mountain...and she called it by a specific name...

I can't believe I remembered this ...but there it is. The mind is incredible.

I think you mixed this one up with a similar name. I think you are talking about Sanneline. She was talking about Avalanches which she call by their Swedish name lavin. She is still here and still posting.
