I am excited to have the seeds on their return journey. Jonna's will go out Monday and the swap will be complete. Thanks everyone, for making this as easy as it could be! Thank You!
Post here if you like, when your seeds come and let us know what you will be sowing first.

Okay, I've got to ask... What are these white things in the seed packs? Desiccant crystals? Shrug!

Susie I will be more than happy to save seeds if I get flowers and they seed before frost. If you do a google search for Cleome lutea seeds a few vendors will come up. They are hard to come by and hard to germinate. Alana may have some tips.

Cleome lutea is difficult for me, Susie. I have to winter sow the seeds and once the plants are big enough to move they need plenty of sun and almost no water. Humidity around here is a killer. I jump through all kinds of hoops to grow them. Other people may not have the same experience and I really enjoyed them the two times my efforts were rewarded, but now that I've grown them I don't think I will do it again. The speed with which they deteriorate if I miss just once protecting them from moisture makes it hard to keep them. I can't be home every day and the weather man is too inconsistent to plan too much ahead.
My assumption is that people in the mid-and upper western states don't have any trouble.

Andi has not contacted me.

Thank You! My seeds arrived yesterday. It was a wonderful treat to go thru them and dream about where I'm going to plant them. This year I am doing winter sowing in those peat pots. I had so many 2 liter bottle hanging around last year, it was irritating. Especially when stuff didn't grow. I have done some direct sowing this year too. Always refining and trying to improve my gardening style. Sorry I didn't post yesterday. After work yesterday I drugged myself with cold medicine and then I was out cold! I think I fell out trying to write thank you from my phone! The seeds are wonderful. Thank you generous people who participated and sent me seeds! I'd better get serious with these grow lights!
Promise Smiling

Danita, the "white things" are pieces of white rice to insure the seeds stay nice and dry. I picked up that tip from Alana a few years back.

My package came! Hurray!

Thank you to everyone who shared their seeds with me. I will be doing some winter sowing later this afternoon while hubby watches football.

Mrs B. Thank you for the fun extra seeds! I have to mail a package out to Jonna anyway so I can send the scrubby ice plant seeds to her with them.

Thank you Alana for hosting.

Susie, I'll send you a private message.

I love that packages are landing around the country. I have Jonna's ready for tomorrow and we will be all done.
Now that others are receiving theirs I've allowed myself to sow some of mine. The Salvia verticillata alba from Jonna has been sown. I've had this before and enjoyed it. I've got Hollyhock "Queeny Mix" sown. The Catananche caerulea alba, Pentas Graffiti Red Lace and Clianthus punicus have all been put in their cozy little sprouting containers. Later this evening I'll sow another round. Smiling

So fun to "watch" packages arrive. Hurray!

@ishareflowers - Glad your seeds arrived, too. No worries about sending the Ruschia pulvinaris seeds to Jonna. She'll soon have a packet of them, too. The ones in your package are for you -- a meager thank you for your thoughtfulness toward others. I tip my hat to you.
