I have had my semps housed at a friend's place for the past couple of years and now I think I've found a new home for them! Still waiting to hear back, it seems the big move will happen in March
Hmm I only just realized in the 2nd picture I caught a gardener in an awkward position forgive please!
I'm thinking that my troughs will go along the fences in the back of the space - there are trees so it won't be full sun but I think it'll be fine.
Here is where they will be moved to - a Seattle PeaPatch which is 2 blocks from my home!
:hurray:

And here is the view looking out from the peapatch - Mt Rainier!

Cheers!

I'm really hoping they see it that way! especially since it won't cost them anything - and I plan to do litter duty so the place stays clean! So by clinic time I will be ready for some new semps! Hurray!
I tip my hat to you.

haha Yes I hope so Dirt!! Hurray! I knew there were a lot didn't realize there were 88!
This one is named after a local artist whose work was first at Seattle Center for the world's fair when it opened (in 62 I think??) So I like that part too!
Patty my troughs will have to be unplanted moved and replanted!! Probably sometime in late March or early April - I've already decided I have to use different soil than I used the last time (what I am using right now is way to heavy! Thumbs down )
Thumbs up

Patty I wish they were already finished...I have them planted at a friend's place but don't want to overstay my welcome, this move would mean they'd be in a public space, but one that won't be changing any time soon, so it feels stable! Thumbs up

How exciting Greg! What a beautiful setting for your plants and now you'll be able to visit them whenever your heart desires. With their new location and new soil they should be very happy in their new home. Lovey dubby

Really cool location. You can just stroll over any time you want to visit. Looks like plenty of sun exposure from what I can tell. I'd be hanging out there quite a bit.
That looks like 4 brand new troughs, are the old ones coming over as well?

Tim - the troughs in the pictures aren't mine, they are already onsite. Those are several feet deep, mine are only 1 foot deep Smiling
Mine won't be moved until later in the spring. I think I'm going to have to be somewhat aggressive - just heard back from the person in charge and she said she thought it was only 1 trough, 6 won't work
(according to her, but I know it will, I just have to explain what I have in mind Smiling )
