This is not Aloe africana, which is an unspotted tree aloe. Do you know what it might be? A flower picture might help with that. It can be really hard to tell spotted aloes apart without one, sometimes even with one. In the meantime I would like to propose that this image be moved to the generic aloe listing, along with the other two photos (of buds and fruit) which I would assume are the same plant.

Sorry I never got back to you I see that you had it moved, which is fine with me. When I got it at a plant swap I was told it was African Aloe which is why I put it where I did. The bloom pics of mine are the same plant.

Cool, no problem. Most aloes are African so that's a descriptive name in a general sort of way. I wish I could be more helpful in identifying your plant.
