So tell me of your favorite spaceage iris of those I have mine would be mystic lover. Of newer stuff I love Mike Sutton's lightsaber. When I started hybridizing I wanted a spaceage arilbred. Don't get it wrong it already exists but of the 2 I know both are 1/4 bred or disenrolled they are kalifas horn poor colors and substance and hubble-space telescope disenrolled but nice. So show me what I've missed in the years I was gone.

I first thought of TB Glitter Gulch, a vibrant yellow that is outstanding in the garden with lovely spoons/wings.

But I finally decided on Hagar's Helmet, a lovely mellow yellow IB that was introduced in 1977. Horns or spoons on a short bloom stalk.

I have several clumps of Thornbird and some of the blossoms in one clump have both horns and spoons and I really enjoy seeing what it blooms with but it is not my favorite right now. Perhaps with the gloomy weather yellow just seems more cheerful.
Thro' all the tumult and the strife I hear the music ringing; It finds an echo in my soul— How can I keep from singing?

One of my favorites is Mercy Marci for it's nice flounces and great colors.

I bought a bunch of SAs last fall. Mostly, I want ones that will also rebloom. I will need this one. Need, huh?

I dislike Space Agers, but did just order one because of the color and because it is a Burseen.

The colors on 'Mercy Marci' are wild. 'Alien Mist' looks very well named... I may have to hunt that one up.

I have yet to see any of my SAers bloom. My only registered ones are 'Mesmerizer' and 'Glacier Point', though I also have the unregistered 'White Extra', and (maybe, if it hasn't died, if it is one of my two NOID pots) an unregistered seedling sent to me by mistake.

The seedling (please please please let me not have lost it):

I just ordered Glacier Point. The white SA's are so pretty. And love that pink seedling. Looks so dainty.

I like flounces better than horns, but the horns on 'Glacier Point' (which I bought almost solely for the name, lol) and 'Alien Mist' really make the bloom something special.

For an older SA-er I really love Durham Dream which was a Zurbrigg intro from here in Durham, NC. Okay I am biased, but it is a beauty!

In the past I grew Spooned Blaze and Conjuration, both of which I would like to grow again, especially the second.
