A swap sounds like fun, but that would be a long up and back trip from here. And it's Easter Saturday. Some of us will be dying eggs and cooking!

I do think we should try to find a central spot around here for a swap. I know Zilker rents their tables near Barton Springs pool. I can check into it if we have enough interest.

I'd be interested in going to the swap in San Antonio! That's even closer than the one in the Woodlands a few years ago.

Bubbles - I'd definitely be up for a central one too. I used to organize one in Bryan/CS a number of years ago, and I miss going to these.

Do you know when the spring one will be? @LindaTX8 used to go to San Antonio for swaps, but it may have been Native Plants Swaps.

don't know about the native plants swap, but this San Antonio Swap is the one I attended last summer/autumn, & it was loads of fun.

nice people,
generous traders,
& it ended with a spread at someone's garden.

I tried to post, but I guess it didn't go through! That group would love to have you come, Sandi! The actual swap wasn't at Ragna's house, it's a pretty small park, but there's a friendly group that shows up! GardenWeb was taken over by Houzz, so it's been going through some big changes (doesn't look very good for the site), so some people may have drifted off. Used to be a swap up at Buda also, but I don't know if that's still around.

Yes, Sandi, I plan on going! I've been going to the swaps a long time, more just to get out and see everybody these days than to get plants. I hope you can make it!

I plan to go with Jolana. I need to walk the garden and see what I can take, or start. Looking forward to meeting you after all these years!
