North Hills Nursery http://www.northhillsnursery.c... has an awesome 2 for 1 sale going right now. It will end Feb 28, 2011.
Here are a few of the plants I got last year from them. They are healthy, vigorous growing plants. I have another order that will be coming by the end of
this week. Will post photos of those when they get here.

Here are just a few of the plants I got in the mail today. I have to finish planting the rest tomorrow. It is going to be so much fun watching them wake up from their winter sleep. After placing them in flats filled with a mix of MG potting mix, Turface and chicken grit, I put them outside in the misty rain we are getting right now. They are going to love that. All next week is sunshine and mid 40 temps.

Lynn.....you are so darn fast Rolling on the floor laughing ...I'm really slow these days and you're killing me...sure wish I could get things done that fast. Sad Thumbs up

I've made my pics, but I need to downsize them for the web. I had to take pics while the plants were inside, so mine may not be as pretty as yours. Whistling

Beautiful semps...I love the healthy plants she sends. Lovey dubby

No Linda, don't downsize them. The quality will be better if you don't. The system here in cubits automatically downsizes for you.
The photos of the ones I got yesterday were taken indoors because it was starting to rain. : ) Just used the flash on my camera.
I have more to add from today. I got the rest of them planted. Hurray! They are truly lovely plants.
Will post more photos later today.

I didn't know that cubits would resize them for the page. Mine are never nice and square like yours...I have to always do a crop on them. I hope I get better at the photo taking...maybe I should us a tripod. Confused

I do crop them Linda before saving to a new file. Crop away. Hurray! I do have to be sure to get a close up to begin with, so the cropped photo will be sharp. Mine are not really all that clear and sharp when you compare them to professional work.
But I am learning. Need a polarizing lens and a macro lens. Boy would that be awesome. : )

Hurray! Oh Linda, those are beautiful photos, and beautiful semps. They will be just fine.
I had several in a paper bag that I forgot to mail to some one. They have been there for over 2 months. I just came across them yesterday. Not only were they still alive, but other than being a little bleached out in color, seem to be fine. Blinking Was I surprised.
I don't recommend doing this however. Yours are looking lovely Linda. Soon they will wake up from their winter nap. Thumbs up
Wow, those photos are so good I can see the tiny hairs on the edges of the leaves. Lovey dubby

These are all in cheap plastic pots until they go outside in the spring. I think they weren't getting enough sun the first couple of weeks and got a little "leggy" as a result. They're getting more now. I love the idea of the turkey pans, what are you using to divide the rows?

Yes Jonathan, being indoors will make them wash out in color and also get leggy. The sooner you can get them outdoors the better. If kept indoors they eventually die. Once outdoors they will recover nicely. Thumbs up
Where did you get them from?
The close up of Astrid is wonderful, I love the fringe of tiny hairs on the leaf margins. Affine makes me laugh with it's sharp pointed leaves, it looks like a very tiny plant with an attitude. Rolling on the floor laughing

Come on spring, we are all wanting warmer weather so we can see things grow. Hurray!

These are all so pretty. I never can decide which one I like the best because I love them all. For some reason, I seem to be partial to the velvety ones, but then I see a different one and get excited over it. Lovey dubby Thumbs up

Jonathan....I used very wide and thick vinyl blinds, cut to fit. My neighbor has his own business for custom ordered blinds. One day he was throwing away a lot of extra pieces he didn't need and I ask for them. I had already thought about using them to divide plants, so I was happy to get them. I cut them the size I need and they work great. I also use rocks to divide them. Whistling
