Guidelines for 2012 Trades

**THIS THREAD WILL BE LOCKED UNTIL MAY 14TH AT WHICH TIME YOU CAN POST YOUR TRADE LISTS**
(This will give everybody 2 weeks to get stuff potted up, inventoried, lists ready, etc. And it will give us all time to make sure what we pot up is actively growing and will truly be available for trade.)

We ask each participant to put up at least 3 plants or rooted cuttings with at least 4-5 leaves. They could be from your own gardens or "bought in" plants (because some people can find some heucheras easily in their area and not others). Anything less than 3 plants is probably not worth the postage.

We request each participant to show the following information in their trade post:
1. Heucheras you have available to trade (would be helpful to also show Heucheras you really want and Heucheras you do NOT want)
2. If you only want to trade Heucheras for heucheras, or if other plants traded for Heucheras would be OK
3. Other plants you have available for trade (if you're not trading Heucheras for Heucheras)

Once lists are posted we ask each of you to work out trades with others via tree-mail. Please keep this thread for trade lists only.

Once you've finalized a trade, please come back here and edit your post to update your trade list.

Preferred ship date for plants should be by mid-June (drop-dead ship date), unless you work out other arrangements with the person you're trading with.

We would like to be fair to everyone and have this be as smooth and seamless as possible. If all works well we can make it an annual event!

OK, let's get this party started! Here is my trade list.

I have one full grown Green Spice.

These are all small plug size:
5 - Snow Angel
2 - Obsidian
1 - Regina
1 - Caramel
2 - Velvet Night

List updated 5-18-12

Interested in trading mainly for other heuchera, but would also consider named succulents, daylilies, salvia, veronica, other perennials hardy to zone 5.

Here is my list of heuchera I really don't want: Blackcurrant, Caramel, Cherry Cola, Earth Angel, Electra, Encore, Fire Chief, Ginger Peach, Green Spice, Mercury, Midas Touch, Midnight Rose, Mocha, Mocha Mint, Obsidian, Peach Crisp, Peppermint Spice, Pinot Gris, Regina, Root Beer, Saturn, Shanghai, Snow Angel, Southern Comfort, Tara, Tiramisu, Vesuvius, Vienna.

I also have lots of sempervivum to trade. You can see my list here: http://cubits.org/sedumandsemp...

I don't have heucheras at all - but would love to trade "up" for a few starters if possible. I have many many named daylilies and many many named bearded iris - from SDBs to TBs and some siberian iris. I should have been working on a list, but will start now. I'll gather photos to send if any of you are considering a trade.

I think I will withdraw from this trade. I thought it was just going to be a one on one swap, like someone would pick who we swapped with. I don't have enough to offer for these trades. But I will in future years!

You decide just tree mail whoever you are interested in trading with. Right now I would be interested in what Heuchera people might be looking for so I have an idea what to divide.
