Looking really good Paul, I really like the Lakeside Summer Snow. Lovey dubby Is it slug resistant? I just planted my Victory and other Large hosta's yesterday. I had them in pots and they have gotten so big I could hardly lift them. Anyway they are in the ground now and looking huge!
I will plant some Helleborus between them and add an Iris here and there. Will the Iris still bloom in part sun? I also got four new Heucheras. What was that plant you have with the yellow flowers?

The plant with yellow flower is Corydallis........pretty but perhaps a little to willing. I hate to say because sometimes it causes a problem but I don't have a lot of slug/snail damage here.

Ok, thanks. You know my Lakeside Cranberry Relish looks a lot like Queen Josephine. I was surprised, I was expecting it to look more like Liberty. I will show you later. Green Grin!

I tip my hat to you. Thanks Jeff!

Way ahead of mine. Isn't "Lakeside Summer Snow" just 'Summer Snow'? Hosta registry doesn't list one with Lakeside and one without. Yours are well ahead of mine which is just as well as we had some frost last week and a few of mine look like frozen lettuce. Others were untouched. I trust you are planning surgery on Great Expectations. Happened to mine a number of years ago.I gave the green division to a neighbour and it's now larger than what I kept.

If we get some pleasant weather in the next couple of days I'll take my first round of pictures, but I still have a few (On Stage, Loyalist) that have not yet emerged. I LOVE the fresh colour of newly emerged hostas. Smiling

Hey Paul - your High Society does not look like High Society that I am familiar with... do you by chance have this one mixed up with Thunderbolt??

Here is my High Society and then my Thunderbolt...

Thanks for sharing the Lakeside April Snow, never saw a good picture of that one before. Here is the Lakeside Cranberry Relish, it is supposed to be upright but not sun tolerant or slug resistant. I believe Queen Josephine is Sun Tolerant and Mounded, right?

I grow Queen Josephine where it gets broken light in the morning and shade the rest of the day so I am not certain about it's sun tolerance. It is one fine hosta Thumbs up Thumbs up Thumbs up Thumb of 2012-06-16/Paul2032/86546f
