Good to see everyone's blooms. Got an inch of rain over night and suppose to be worse today. This first one is not my flower, Larry Grace was generous enough to loan it to me for this season.

Beautiful bouquet today! Thanks so much for sharing them.

Fred, I really like your L. White Lies and a neat name.

For whomever was asking, yes, my Peppermint Delight does cup. I put it on a cream poly UF seedling this morning. Wouldn't THAT be fun!

Thumb of 2012-05-03/LALAMBCHOP/e5fed6

FFO on Velvet Ribbons. It's quite nice with the curls and has excellent branching and bud count even if it never meets the registered 6/45.

Thumb of 2012-05-03/LALAMBCHOP/cc1211

I'll put today's polys on the poly thread.

These are buds from Kaleidoscope Puzzle which has dark sections on the outer portions of some sepals. I think it's fun to see how they show up before it blooms.

I'd love to babysit a fan of Rose Kennedy. It's a beautiful daylily, really beautiful. Do you know of someone that's needing a babysitter??? nodding

Do you know if Janet & Bill is as good parent as Happy Happy. I have it one my list, but if Janet & Bill is better, It think I may change to it??? It's a show stopper for sure.

I love Peppermint Delight. It's a happy plant.

This is the best of the bunch so far! WOWSER. Have to move Mexican Elvis to the top of my want list. My grandnephew is a huge Elvis Presley fan (and he is just 14, can you believe it?). I bought him Elvis Lives last year, but his best friend is Mexican and he has a birthday coming in July, soooooo.... Big Grin

Mona JANET AND BILL is new this year, but I will be able to answer your question next year at this time.
Michele, for once I am ahead of you, I already have you some pollen from RFK and EMERALD STARBURST which bloomed for the first time yesterday.

This is the best branched daylily I have ever seen (dip or tet) it must have 50+ buds on it. It has had one major problem for me, it has had only one bloom with a pistil and it set a seed on that one bloom. The pollen is very fertile and I have used it on several of my dips.

I knew you would Fred.

Wild Dreams is on steroids here, I'll have to try and get a photo. There are prolifs growing in the bracts AND those prolifs have scapes and buds.

I remember when I first saw Emerald Starburst in Geo Doorakian's garden, as a seeding. In a pot. I went to visit and he was working in the fields. ES was in a pot just behind the driveway head, kinda beside/behind me as I was waving to him.

He grinned, ear to ear and said take a look around, coyly....

I knew something was up but I was not expecting what I saw when I turned around and saw nothing but green!
The petals were turned back more than your pic so the green really showed.

Alas it and MALACHITE PRISM were not hardy here. Lost them both the first year. Grumbling Grumbling Grumbling
