It would be so interesting to see the daylilies blooming now in spring in the Southern Hemisphere. This is my first contribution.
Old Tangiers never ceases to surprise me by how it can glow. From across a garden, or even in the gloom of twilight, it curiously imposes itself.
The problem is that when you are young your life it is ruined by your parents. When you are older it is ruined by your children.

This one is "Crikey!". It wasn't until I was cataloguing my daylilies that I noticed that Scott Alexander had never registered this one. It has long 100mm (40") scapes, lots of buds, is an excellent parent and it also has good pups. It is a striking large plant with blooms (17mm, 7") of golden yellow with a claret, flared chevron eye. (You will notice many of my blooms have an ubiquitous flower-spider species. I must get it identified).
