The last time I looked, Home Depot had these very pre-fab ponds that I believe are what 35 gallons, Rita? They were selling them for about $30 each! Can't beat the price! I've had my 2 (which are exactly the same size as Rita's) for almost 10 years now and they still are holding up nicely!

A friend gave me two beautiful bowls a while back that I have been using as ponds. One has a type pf grass in it and the other has a waterlily. I can't put fish in them because they are in my lanai and the fish would become cat-entertainment...

Thanks for the information!! I have been wanting one for a long time and too much work for me. My DH had a friend when he was younger who had an old fashioned bath tub outside with gold fish in it. During the winter they would be swimming around under the ice. LOL. This is wonderful, now I can have a real pond and afford it too.

How deep is you pond with the water lily? Do you bring your fish inside for the winter with a small pond? I haven't seen the ponds in Home Depot, but I am going to have to look!
