A favored NOID. Usually a terrific clump but the poor thing was out of the ground the whole time I was sick. Watered in the shade but the foliage really took a hit, the blooms have been true to previous years though. I think she'll pull through.

Yes, I was out taking pics and it flew right by me and landed on the fence. It almost landed on my knee (was bent down). It is one of the biggest Dragonfly's I have seen!

I thought your dragonfly was a piece of jewelry. So pretty!

Someone asked about Cerise Beauty in the last thread. It was slow to take off here, but is doing OK now established.

Ooooh, Viola Francois is simply divine. I am glad you posted Medicine Feather. I purchased it 2 years ago and it has yet to bloom. I think this may be the year for it finally.

Beautiful images of Zoe Allegra and Viola Francois! The eye on Blackberries and Cream with so many colors all blending is gorgeous.

Well, here it is July first and I finally have a bloom! Hurray! Notice I said...a...bloom. Scapes are popping up everywhere though and it is looking like it will be a spectacular show this year.

Blooming today....

Daily Dollar, a pretty 3" bloom, clumps quickly and continues to rebloom from start until frost.

Cindy, I think Medicine Feather took 3 years to bloom for me too, then I moved it to the front garden and it bloomed the following year. Guess it's happier there. It really is a pretty one.

Char, your daylilies will be blooming weeks after ours are gone. I'm already seeing some that I think of as lates starting to bloom. Daily Dollar looks like one that would shine in the garden. Yellows are so pretty.

I am glad that medicine feather needs 2-3 years to bloom at some of your gardens - that means I can hope for bloom next year Hurray!
