Having recently received my first acorns, I went to dress up my moniker with some of the spiffy microbadges I see everyone displaying, and as I scrolled down looking for the one I assumed would be an obvious offering, it was missing!

There is a large, and growing, gardening subculture who are not represented by a badge - Tomato Heads. You know who you are. We can't help it. Every year we add new (or in my case, old) tomato varieties to our growout lists. We congregate to form annual festivals to do nothing more that show off our successes, taste test, and snag more seeds. We are the ones willing to pay five dollars for a seed (just one time, but remember the 'Marianna's Peace' craze a few years back?!?!)

Anyway, my suggestion is to create a microbadge (Tomato Head?) and to discourage the standard gardener who simply grows a tomato plant or two, price it higher (10 acorns? More?).

Comments . . . suggestions?

Thank you @valleylynn, but Dave gets the credit for how it looks Smiling If you are talking about how it looks under my name, I agree, it does look wonderful :)

Now hopefully I can start identifying the really hardcore "Tomato Heads" at ATP to recruit into helping me flesh out the tomato database Sticking tongue out I had ulterior motives behind this microbadge proposal . . . buhwaaahhhahaha (that was supposed to be a Dr. Evil laugh).

Good news: i too am a tomatohead. If fact it's the first micribadge i ever really wanted.
Bad news: dave took your suggestion about making it worth 10 acorns, and i only have 9. There's nothing of interest in my yard to take a picture of, either.

Now that is a truly useful badge. I just saw this but count me in. I will be going over to buy that badge immediately. And I love the way that it looks.

I am obsessed by my tomatoes each year and grow over 60 plants. That is a lot for one person on a typical suburban lot. Yes, I am crazy for those home grown tomatoes!
