I'm was thrilled to find bulbs blooming in the garden today. We had been out of town, and it is amazing what can transpire in the garden in 7 days.

Please share your blooms. I'm so happy that the bloom season for 2015 has started here Hurray!

So pretty, a sight for sore eyes. I don't even remember what bare ground looks like. My screen saver is pic of daffodils blooming in my front garden. I know Spring is coming ... eventually. Like May ... Blinking

Beautiful blooms Larry! I'm glad to see the spring bulbs taking off in the SE.

I suspect I will be having a slow down with blooms this coming week. We are now under a winter storm watch until Tuesday evening, and really cold weather has been predicted for the rest of the week.

Heat spell today, it is up to 25 degrees out in the sunshine. Not gonna last though as the excessive cold will be back after tomorrow and last thru the weekend.

The snow just piles up on top of snow that has never melted. Who knows how long everything will stay white. Doesn't look promising for an early spring. And I can';t wait to see all my bulbs bloom. Always love that spring show.

I think the forum moderator will have to move the post, if not then Dave may have to. Don't think we can move them ourselves.

The pictures are lovely Betsy, you don't have to remove them😁

Plants blooming here slowed down, since the weather got really cold this past week. We were down to 12 degrees with a windchill of 0 on Thursday, and we didn't get out of the 20's on Thursday, or the 30's on Friday. Today, it's warmer, but rainy.

Here are a few buds and blooms from yesterday. I'm thrilled to share my 1st blooming muscari. It is the only one, out of hundreds that's blooming. I noticed that the Ice King daffs with buds were flopped over on the coldest days.

Here are some photos from my garden taken today, it rained pretty hard last night so the poor hyacinth bloom is all beat up, but it was the only one blooming so far and it looks pretty pathetic.

Maybe these will look better when they bloom.
Thumb of 2015-02-24/Seedfork/7ea71f
Some of the Daffs stood up to the rain pretty good, most of them were laying down.

I love red tulips! My Mom used to grow little red tulips and they bloomed early with the daffodils. I would walk among them on wet spring mornings when I was a child while listening to the little early frogs serenading the awakening land. smiles

Bonnie, hearing the spring peeper frogs is such a joy- one of the first signs that spring is really near!

Nice blooms Larry and tarev! I can't wait to see more blooms here. I have so many daffodils with buds waiting to burst open.

We were predicted to have temps in the 60's for 4 days this coming week, however, I see that the weather folks have changed that, we're back to cooler temps again Sad

We're at a balmy 72 degrees today, but that kind of temp won't be sticking around. We're not getting out of the 40's tomorrow 😔 Sighing!

Here are a few blooms from today.

You Southerners are opening spring well...It's 21° today, to be 6° tonight, but 10 day forecast (w/ not a too reputable accuracy that far away) says 60° latter mid next week. Hope so.

Uplifting bloom pics all.
