I'm thinking Viburnum lantana (or possibly another similar species. I'm not up-to-date on all the Viburnum species. )
If you have a pic that shows a full leaf that might help to nail down the species.

YES!

I took the trip down to my local nursery. Well first, I went to the next town over, had lunch and then dropped in. I got a couple of them as anchor plants for the front yard. I will post photos tomorrow. :)

I am very thankful for all your help. I have more seedling pics I need to post over the coming days as well. I am a very liberal gardener as in I sometimes find old seed packets and then broadcast them all around. I do this a lot. When they come up however, I am very curious... what are they!

I am indeed. I also have stories ever present in my garden. Priscilla hollyhocks, saved flowers from old farm sites and the list goes on and on.

It does look like a viburnum, but V. lantana has rough, hair leaves and downy leaf stems. The plant in question seems to have shiny leaves? There are viburnums with shiny leaves....

That could be my post processing that did that. I applied a global smoothing over it to make it 'pop'. I did confirm though when I was at the gardens this weekend that this is indeed the plant and I do have photos of my new plants but need to upload them. :)
