Hi Sheri,

This is a brand new introduction. I don't think any retailers even have it yet.

I've been keeping my eye out for it and see that 'Southern Living Plant Collection' has added it to their website.

The wholesaler, Flowerwood, grows out plants from that collection and is in our area. Find out what retail garden centers (not big box, but places that will actually special order something for you) buy from them and from which location. Keep an eye out on their availability list so you can know when to remind your local garden center about ordering.

You can't order from Flowerwood unless you are a retailer, landscaper or similar business.

For mail order, Flowers by the Sea may possibly have it in the future and sends great plants. Kermit, @fbts , do you happen to be trialing this one? Thanks!

Smiling

We'll be looking at this one. There are a raft of new varieties scheduled to hit the retail shelves next year - more than I have ever seen. So many that we can't practically trial them all. After all, we have a whole group of our own new hybrids that will be available in the spring. So far the hype behind this year's new varieties has proved to be a bit excessive in most cases, so my expectations are not high. We'll weigh in with an opinion in a few months.

Thanks, Kermit! I have to say that 'Black and Bloom' is proving to be disappointing so far.

Tony Avent has informed me that Luen Miller of Monterey Bay Nursery is responsible for this one, and a number of other new releases. I'm pretty sure it will be PPAF when released.
