Been busy and haven't been to ATP for a while. Preparing to order a few Iris, I found I really liked Superhero with it's well defined border on the standards.

Do you know of other Iris that have a well defined border on their standards? [Others I already have seen are Ring Around Rosie and sib Whispering Spirits, and Bride's Halo.]
Thanks .

Gabe @Cuzz4short loves rimmed iris and can probably name quite a few. Slovak Prince comes to mind for me -

I'm not sure if this fits your idea of "well-defined" or not...

Evaluating an iris seedling, hopefully for rebloom

Thanks Rob. Seeing the thread "Fantasy Crosses", or whatever it's entitled, and seeing Superhero which really caught my attention, I thought it would be fun to specifically breed for borders or edges on the standards. There's a lot of plicatas that might work as well, though I didn't want to go plicata direction. Just for like blue/purple edge on the standards (or even rose colored), there are many plicatas . . . but I thought I saw somewhere that plicata produces plicata.

So perhaps an Iris like Classic Look could be used to arrive at a blue edge on the standards:

Very different, not sure that I like it for looks, but possibly useful:

It seems that some of the edges or borders on the standards don't seem to be as defined when northern grown, or seems my observation, and maybe not so (this one I specifically chose a more northern grown flower photo as the warmer climate the edge appeared more prominate:

Wow, that one is a beauty, but not likely I will be ordering from out-of-country.
