I extended the bottom of the cage with an hardware cloth basket cut and bent to size. Lined it with moss and filled with potting soil. I originally filled it with lobelia but it dried out way to fast.
Last summer I tried succulents. A few from here and there stuck in. Mostly cuttings. I love succulents and have collected quite a few and propagated them, or they have propagated themselves Seems to have held up fine so far!
