You are welcome! I haven't yet turned the dog house back into a kennel at our new house because I promised my Mom that we would leave it up so that Polly will be safe when she is outside. There are too many things here that would enjoy a Chihuahua for a snack!

My first doxie was a neighborhood drop off. She was 5, pregnant, and every worm in the book including heartworm. I named her Saucie, short for Sausage dog. (Original, are we?) Had her 10 years after that. Vet refused to treat her heartworm due to size and age. She dies of cancer before the heartworm. My current doxie is solid dark chocolate colored and named, what else, Cocoa. LOL

I like the name Saucie, and I didn't even think of Sausage dog when I saw it!

My neighbor in Utah had a white cat named Whitie, a white dog with black spots named Freckles, an American Eskimo dog named Eska, a calico cat named Callie, and a gray cat named Tammy. Blinking Confused I asked her what was wrong with Tammy that she got a normal name! Tammy was already named that when they adopted her, but the others all had other names when she adopted them, too! Made no sense, but it cracked me up! Hilarious!

Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing That is occasionally one of my dogs nicknames!

I just remembered that some friends of my husband have a dog named Neighbor Dog. He asked if they were taking care of him, thinking that it was a description, rather than a name. They said it was their dog. So, he asked if they got him from the neighbor, or borrowed him and never returned him, and they said that they adopted him from the SPCA, and that was his name! Sounds like the neighbors must have gotten tired of him! He's a fantastic dog, and never leaves the yard, so I guess he is happy now!

Natalie great recycle use of the dog pen, gosh I wish I had an excuse to need one as that is what I would do with it, the heck with putting a dog in it.

I love that there are so many who are owned by their fourlegged companions...

this is my Gracie who now has decided to claim the front trundle bed for her own....LOL

Gracie is adorable, and I love her name!

We've added another baby to our home recently. This is Jackson. He is 10 weeks old, and keeping the other two dogs on their toes. He won't be spending any time in the kennel either!

If I was younger I would add another for my Gracie, she is so sad since we lost her brother back in June. But DH says we can't. And really since we downsized and are on a fixed income can't afford it. So I'll get over the urge by seeing what everyone else has. LOL

Such a cutie you have.
Blessings to you,
Jan

We recently moved out of state, and now have 12 1/2 acres. The dogs love it! We downsized the house, and upsized the land. Hilarious! We had one dog only for many years, and it's more fun having two. Not sure that I really needed 3, but our old dog is getting up there, and our middle dog needed a buddy. So, I think we got the puppy for our dog Bailey, more than anything. Luckily they love each other! Both are Labs. Jackson is very calm, and Bailey is never calm, so they balance each other out nicely! Sorry you lost your other dog. I know the heartache that brings. Group hug

Hey, Rick, isn't Lord Toby just a bit nervous being posted in amongst all these large canine types? Hilarious!
