Love it, Dave! Hurray! That butterfly is the perfect adornment for those blooms. Thumbs up

Remember last year when we were trying to figure out the ID of my roadside plant and I actually dug up some tubers? Well, I tossed them in a pot of dirt and left them sit all winter and now I have some too! Big Grin I'm enjoying them immensely right now. They're in a spot where they can spread to their hearts-content...and I hope they do.

Thanks ya'll. I'm also really enjoying these sunroots. They are so cheerful with hundreds of blooms per plant, and the heat and dry soil doesn't seem to phase them. They don't seem plagued by any pests, butterflies love them, and they produce edible tubers. What's not to like about them?!

Helianthus tuberosus. Sunroot and some call it Jerusalem Artichoke.
