It's funny how Angelo Brunetti's picture of Waves of Joy is so much better than Dan's picture. I'm going to email Angelo and ask if I can use his picture.

Michele, thank you for posting this. I have been checking their site every few days to see if it had been updated.

I have just placed our order. Don't forget to check out the General Price List. Sometimes you find some really good prices there.

We are getting Tango Lessons, the Diploid Collection, Jane's Tet.Collection, and from the general price list Marilyn Morss Johnson and Tet. Malachite Prism.

Just talked to Dan. He was suprised that the website was up because he said he had more stuff to add to it. I said, what kind of stuff? He is going to add pictures of a bunch of the seedlings from Dragonfly Dawn and Waves of Joy. I will be excited to see them.

Well, Im going to have to go for West End Girls. Not only after all these years can I still 'sing' every word, I have been trying with no luck to get a good Tusk baby. This one is tall. A different color than Tusk, and is just kinda a must do.

Im blaming this on the GATORS. If they were not loosing to the worst team in the country Angry , I wouldnt have even found this

Alright...they pulled it out in grand fashion and I got a new plant. Guess its a good day to do some fabric shopping too

I love STAR BRIGHT. I can see crossing that with a couple of my seedlings that are (curt hanson purple dip) crossed with (Dottie Warrell things). I have a few cool seedlings from crossing Curt's dips to Dottie's lines.

I'm putting it on my get in the future list!

I emailed them and asked when it may be available and if they knew how much so we shall see.

I ordered the Full form collection and from the dips ORANGE SPICE. Doris (or David) if STAR BRIGHT does well for you (if the wire thin scapes don't flop) let me know because I may have to get it.

I was going to order the whole dip collection and Jane's collection but then I decided to order PRINTMAKER (the $250 one) from the Lambertson's and I'm waiting to see what Mark Carpenter is going to have, as well as, Floyd Cove's spring and Pete Harry's spring.

Yes, Michele, the first thing I did after checking out the intros was jump to the Tet conversions in the General Price List. Great minds DO think alike!!! And do you know if TET. TIME STOPPER is a lot like TET. ROSE KENNEDY? Because the Trimmers had TTS listed at $500 last year and have reduced it to $300, and Floyd Cove had it listed at $300 last year. It's registered as two separate words rather than one, and the picture looks pretty similar to Rose... And I just wish we could be assured these tet conversions are fertile before plunking down major $$... scary!

So please share what you learn from the Trimmers on TET ROSE KENNEDY, as I'm sure that's the one we'd really really like to get.

Michele, I will try to remember to keep a check on Star Bright's scape next summer. If you think about it, remind me in case I forget. Got to figure out where I am going to plant these daylilies! I need to find a place for a new dip bed or just get rid of a bunch of tets.

Betty, I got a reply back from Jane Trimmer. I had asked about Tet RFK and Tet Emerald Starburst. The reply I got back was

Hi Michele
Tet EMERALD STARBURST was very pod fertile last year. We do not know when they will increase enough to release.

Best, Jane & Dan

Water Mill Gardens

So I assume they don't know when eaither one will be released. I will definitely be on the look out for the Tet ES since she specifically said it was very pod fertile.
Oh, and by the way, just in case you didn't realize this. When there are various conversions of one daylily by different people, one may not be fertile where the others are or vice versa so if you find one that you want that someone says isn't fertile for them then you should look for another one converted by someone else and see if it is fertile for them.

I don't know anything about Tet Time Stopper or the dip version. I wonder if Floyd Cove will lower the price when they update the general list? May be a nice one to add in the dip and tet version. FYI: TIME STOPPER has MALCHITE PRISM in its background and I'm almost certain that RFK does as well so that is probably where they get the same looks from. I assume that they are DF at both, but CT daylily has it for $175 SF, although sold out this year, to keep in mind for when they have it in stock again. It's only a SF, but still less than buying a DF.

I spent some time last night checking out the large green throated diploids, and I really would love to get a tet. conversion of ROSE F. KENNEDY, TIME STOPPER, and/or EMERALD STARBURST -- if I could be pretty sure they would be fertile at least one way, that is. But for now I have my TET. MALACHITE PRISM that I got from Maryott's earlier this year, and hopefully I can get something from it at some point

I was thinking about adding PIKE'S PEAK, but at the end of the Floyd Cove description it says "Fertile both ways, but difficult." So that sorta cooled my heels. But I do realize that just about all of these have the same daylily or two somewhere in the parentage mix.

Thanks for the heads up on CT Daylilies, Michele -- I wasn't aware of that one.
