I think this is Haworthia Maraisii, its very cute, I've placed a quarter for size...there is a little white speck that in the photo looks like sand but its a flower spike, these are very slow growing so it'll be awhile before it blooms but when it does I'll post photos Smiling

Cute and smallest I've seen..I love Haworthias; the ones I've had were happy inside the house. Sometimes I get tired of worrying about enough light for the semps and echeverias and sedum, etc. Confused The Hawworthias and Gasterias and Adromishcus type succulents are a relief to take care of since they don't need much.

Hi Bev I agree Haworthias are a really nice indoor plant! when I move them outdoors I always have to be sure to hide them a bit by other pots. This little guys though doesn't grow much at all, and I think "he's not happy, got to figure out where to put him" and then I'll realize that there's a bit of bloom and I think its just an amazingly slow grower Smiling
Letting you know there is a new forum and you'd be welcome there its Pacific Northwest gardeners (PNW) which I know you're not that, but Zuzu just joined saying she's growing some plants that are appropriate to our Northwest climate, so feel free to check it out, its fun being a new forum we're introducing ourselves and people make me smile!
Talk soon
Greg I tip my hat to you.

Greg, Funny you mentioned PNW cause i moved to CA from 2 years of living Spokane, WA and let me tell you my semps froze their little "rosettes" off. There was a nite there in Oct that reached 4 degrees and I was piling all the shade cloth and N-sulate cloth I could find to protect them. Of course in Spring I lost a lot of them when 30% of them bloomed.

Hi Marilyn yep I sure do have it...it is in too dim of light though so has gotten quite green but it is still only about the size of a Kennedy half - I'll update photos, but to me it doesn't look any different! It will bloom later during the summer, so I know its doing just fine, but I did think it was going to send out pups, and thus far that hasn't happened...just this one single plant in a pot that is little but probably still too large for it! Rolling on the floor laughing Lovey dubby

So glad to hear it survived, maybe you will get seed if not pups. Hurray! Hurray!
