I know! There actually was quite a lot more than this, but I didn't have camera, only phone so a distance shot wouldn't have shown what it was! This house has 2 sides of different types of sedum! Its very dramatic this time of year! Thumbs up

Hurray! Hurray!
I am so excited. Look what Trish posted today in the Site forum.
The thread "Recomendation acorn special!" in Site Talk forum

Can you believe it, 5 acorns for each review you post. And don't forget, if your favorite nursery isn't in the list, add it and then post a review. Hurray! Hurray!
Go to the 'Recoommendations' tab at top of page. Or click on this link http://garden.org/reviews/

Now get to gathering those acorns, Sempervivum week is coming up and you are definitely going to want acorns for the raffle items. Whistling

What an interesting sedum you have Greg. It looks like a miniature shrub.

Found a couple of sayings about sedums that I thought were nifty.

Sedum or Stonecrop, is translated as "sprouting from the stone".

Here's an old garden saying "only stones require less care and live longer than Sedum."

True?

Hilarious!

Almost, depending on which sedum it is.

Edited to show this sedum growing on the cement bridge.

It's roots are literally deep into the tiny holes and crevices of the rock.
Here is a S. spathulifolium growing out of a crack in a rock wall, in it's natural habitat.
