You rose folks are giving me Rose Fever. But for now it must remain Rose Envy, Hilarious! nodding nodding

I have tried but due to space, light limits I just cannot grow them. But I do love looking at them.

This is an especially nice picture ..

Beautiful and eye catching. Marvelous presentation with snow. I tip my hat to you. . There should be a banner competition with categories. This will give the rest a good run for their money.

Arif.

You know, it's funny; shooting them on the deck snow wasn't ever my original intent but rather a last ditch effort to get something usable before the blooms got too crispy. It really does make a nice backdrop though, doesn't it? Smiling

I'm glad you like them, Arif.

Thanks, J and Marilyn!

I like them and the longer I look at them, they remind me of fudge roses on a white topped cake Confused . Must be my cravings.

But she said she has space and light limits so that is a good excuse.

Maybe in containers Marilyn?

Sue - And how big is a Pinstripe? Rose (Rosa 'Pinstripe') I grew my Pinstripe in almost 100% shade and gave it less than a foot of space and it thrived for 2 years before I accidentally stomped it flat (I had the choice of falling on my face or stepping in my minibed.. so I stepped on my minibed. It never recovered.) You've seen pix of my "minibed". That's in partial sun (about 4-5 hours/daily in summer, way less in winter, probably about 1-2 hours from Nov-March.).

Marilyn - I can help you with the planting if you want...

Sue, thanks for the support.

Thanks Toni, I live in a townhouse and have only a very small heavily shaded patio and small about 2 x2 bed out front.

I have tried moving a pot around in the little sun I get but .....

Thanks, I am stuck on growing semps in most of my space right now.

I will just keep on enjoying the posts of you folks with the space, talent and inclination to grow these beauties

And of couse visiting nurseries, DBC and Hudson gardens to fulfill my need to touch and sniff. Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing

Marilyn - Did you know there were pretty huge rose gardens outside of the Denver Museum of Science & History? I didn't realize that until this past .. November? when I was lookout out the windows in their atrium & saw them. Definitely going to have to check them out this summer. For a fun night, stop by Tagawa Gardens (Parker & Broncos Pkwy) the.. 3rd? Thursday of April (I'll let you know closer when) for their "Night of Wine & Roses". DH calls it the Running of the Little Old Ladies as that's the first time that Tagawas will allow their nursery-grown roses be sold. They have a small string orchestra, wine sampling, cheese & grapes, (sometimes ColdStone shows up), and roses up the yingyang. You ever been there during rose season? One of my pictures from my article shows all the roses...
