OK...so I just walk around with a paint brush and collect pollen and put it where it looks welcome... and this is the first bloom of a bunch of seedlings. NO CLUE what the cross is. But I think its lovely...the frilly edges, and the coloration. So...if I want to replicate this...seeds? pups? Too stupid for tissueculture!Thumb of 2013-02-17/AlohaHoya/ac9805

Congrats, that's a very nice color. I'm pretty new to Amaryllis, but I think the only way to get a true replica is pups or division of the bulb. Shrug!

Margaret is right of course. The seedlings will be genetically different BUT,if self pollinated, should be near replicas of the parent plant. If you want to name this one and spread it around I would wait for offsets.

Nice one! How long was it from pollination to bloom?

Gosh, freddy...I don't know. But I've put some seeds to germinate...will keep track of the time.... I've had about 50 seedlings bloom and it's such fun!!! So many variations....!

I really like the edges of the bloom on this cross: Gives it an elegant appearance.

Beautiful!! I have several pots of seedlings, may I ask you what size your bulbs are before you separate them into pots of their own? Thank you.
