I'm getting these first ones from ATP database.

This is the link to the Salvias database to all of the Salvias. http://garden.org/plants/searc... Then, you just click what what you want to look at, either all < a thru z > or just the info of Salvias.

Click here to view all plants in the genus: Salvia.

Click here to view the parent plant for Salvia. (The parent plant has info about Salvias)

For those that don't know how to do it with the pics there to post here, all you do is find a pic and look above the pic where it says: ATP BB Code: [ ]

Click that area of [ ] and go to the edit section on your computer, click copy and then, click paste here and it will show like this....

----

This is 'Raspberry Delight', which I've been growing in the ground for many years. I have 3 plants of it.

Next ones taken in shade and/or in the evening:

How big does Raspberry Delight get? I thought this was probably RD and not Furmans Red. Not sure but this plant is about 3.5 to 4 feet across and 3 ft tall. The Mexican feather grass next to it has reached gargantuan size as well. The record 8 inches in 2 days benefited them. Blue Hill in front sprawled with that soaking.

Hi SalviaisAthelas and welcome to ATP! Welcome!

Welcome to the Agastache and Salvias forum! Welcome!

Raspberry Delight gets to 3 feet tall and 3 feet wide. Autumn Sage (Salvia greggii 'Raspberry Delight')

Your flower color looks like a raspberry color, so it's not Furman's Red.

@FBTS would you comment and give your expert knowledge please?

In our experience, this is not a really large grower and is a bit taller than wide. This clone is not a pure S. greggii, as evidenced by the floral structure, plant habit and foliage. It is a good grower and could I bet get larger in some circumstances. It would not surprise me if there were several different "Raspberry Delight' clones in the trade, as I see a great deal of variation in descriptions.

Thank you both for your help. I am going to propagate cuttings as I want more of this same plant and haven't been able to identify exactly which cultivar it is. It was existent on the property when we bought it 2 years ago surrounded by marble rocks but I recognized that it was a salvia and only supposed it was a greggii. Again, thanks for the info!
