My mom asked me whether there would be any roundups we could attend this year. She really enjoyed them when I was in Texas before. Does anyone know of any being planned?

Yes, we are having one April 21 in Arlington, at Randol Mill Park.

Is there another page I should go to for the roundup? I wasn't sure what we should bring (food, plants, fee)?

The R.U. is posted on DG, it will be at Randol Mill park, Sunday April 21st at 1.00 p.m.
You have been there but may have trouble remembering, can you check DG?

Ok thanks! I am not a member of DG anymore, but I do remember the park. We can bring a side dish or dessert and a door prize. I don't really have anything to trade since I'm just getting started again, but it will be great to see everyone!

By the way...a few years ago my mom got a desert willow tree from you. Here's a pic of it from last summer...very happy! :)

There's plenty of us Texans here, but we're pretty spread out around the state. Are we interested in trying to all get together somewhere, or should we try for more regional get togethers?

We had one in Jacksonville a few years ago and it was great. But that's a pretty good trek from the major cities.

Sheila and I usually host one in Arlington, but so far this year we are both quite busy, although we are not against it.
We might have to wait till May if we do have it, I will talk to her and see what she has to say.

Unfortunately that is the date of the Native plant Society plant sale and we have to be there.

I would love an RU in Jacksonville!
It would be nice to have something a little closer for those of us in east Texas.

A round-up is basically a gathering of ATP members where we swap plant plants, and get to see each other face to face.
If you host one I will be there, your plenty close enough for me to attend.

I'm coming too! I'm only a couple of hours from Houston. The last one I went to was in Houston in a pavilion in the Woodlands.
